Anthropic files for IPO amid reported $1.5 trillion to $2 trillion valuation
Anthropic, maker of Claude AI models, filed a Form S-1 with the SEC on Monday for an initial public offering under the ticker ANT. Reports value the company at between $1.5 trillion and $2 trillion, which would rank it among the largest IPOs ever. The listing could come as soon as November and would make Anthropic the first company focused primarily on advanced AI models to go public. It also faces ongoing lawsuits against the Pentagon over how its models can be used.
